Just started school, and yes I don't have a lot of friends. I'm somewhat of a introvert who can't seem to fit in anywhere. I am always self conscious about myself and how other people view me. Recently however, I was wondering if I should just give up on that mentality due to the fact that I might not even care after High School. I know it sounds cringy, but should I stop worrying about trying to be "cool" and just fucking not give two shits about my social ranking? Will I likely regret doing this once I graduate, or is there really no value in your social ranking later on in life? Sorry if this is confusing, I appreciate any advice!
