In america, is hooter a comfortable easy going place like apple bee or golden corral buffet?

I mean whether in america it is considered “very easy to go without hesitation” with your 8 years old daughter or wife.

For example: Husband “hey wife. Sunday lunch what about golden corral today?” I think it always happens.

Or a 12 years old daughter tell to father that she will be hooters girl soon. And dad answer “good choice there a lot more tips than apple bee”

Just like that, is hooters considered that way to american people?

I am from very strict and religious (though secular - no legal ban but i had better put summer cardigan on sleeveless top at 100 degree temperature to be social)region so get confused living in america.
