Finding a percentage from 2 numbers

I'm simply trying to figure out that if America 328.2 Million persons what percentage is 86.8 Million?. I feel sad as fuck because ik this is easy. I did divide them and 3.78 Million but 3.78% doesn't make any sense.
Edit: Thank you. Kinda sad because I'm a senior in HS who tutors like 3 ppl in math lol.
