Maybe I’m missing something but other adults (mostly ones I’ve encountered from the previous generation) that aren’t into anime or gaming I don’t see what they expect me to do with my free time. Like seriously, how is gaming or anime a child like thing to do?
Nowadays, this is not happening as often, I’ve run into more and more like minded folks but in my early 20’s I felt like I was alone the whole time.
From my perspective, these people didn’t read books (I still read, not as often as I would prefer but I still do), they aren’t as knowledgeable on politics as they think they are (I am between articles, podcasts, and YouTube channels I am better knowledgeable than the ones criticizing me [or my friends] about anime and gaming), they don’t seem to have “hobbies” I would deem worthy my time, meaning they aren’t painting, or cooking, or learning a new skill, or learning Maintence better, or anything.
From my perspective it seems they expect me to watch R rated movies and watch random TV shows that fly in my face.
So maybe I’m just missing something?
EDIT:
Whoa! I got a “helpful award”! So cool!
