can i run city skylines on my macbook air 2020?

my proccessor is an I3 and i know it wont support it, but i have been running the game in the lowest resolution. Plus i have a cooling pad to help cool down my mac as i use other heavy CPU applications, the real question is. I am worried playing it will damage my macbook. Will this damage my macbook? everytime i play i can hear the fans very loudly and i only play for about 5 mins until i have to turn it off. Basically i am just worried that it is going to fry my logic board. Pls help
