My mom left a full container of goat yogurt in my fridge last December or so. Yogurt's not really my thing, and goat yogurt definitely isn't, so it pretty much chilled out in the back of the fridge since then.
But now, thanks to quarantine, both my budget and my food standards are getting lower. It doesn't look like it's off. It does have that lamb-y goat-y smell that you get from strong sheep cheese, but there's no mold or discoloration or anything like that. The best-by date is November 2019. Also it's pasteurized, if that matters.
Ordinarily, with yogurt, I'd take a sniff to decide if it's bad. But this already smells like goats, so it's pretty hard to tell.
What do you say, Reddit? Should I take a chance?
