How will time be measured in outer space if/when we have common space travel?
Post Body

Our perception of time is relative to earth’s rotation around the sun. If/when we have common space travel how will time be measured? Will it be based on the space craft’s orbit around whatever planet it is orbiting or will it be consistent with Earth’s perception of time? What if the space craft is not orbiting something - ie deep space travel?
