Does anyone else call Mosquito hawks “Boppers”

Me and my family have called them boppers for as long as I’ve been alive but I’ve recently received a cultural shock as I’ve found out not a single person outside of my family calls them boppers! We call them boppers because they tend to “Bop” against the wall so the names just made sense my whole life and I assumed everyone called them boppers as well. Is my family the only one that calls them boppers or do others do it as well? Does anyone call them something else?
