Does anyone else scratch an itch and then feel compelled to scratch the same area on the opposite side of your body?

I've looked online this morning (as this was a question I had while trying to fall asleep) and found something called a "referred itch" but I don't think that's what this is. It's not limited to scratching as most stimuli results in the need to recreate it on the opposite side of my body. Does anyone know what it's called?
