Is running an AC's "Fan only mode" saving you a lot of money compared to "AC only?"

So we pay for electric here and I want to save money during the summer months. The AC has a fan only mode and does a pretty good job at keeping the place cool but I'm wondering is it a big money saver compared to using AC?
