Is the way I masturbate unsafe?

I don't masturbate 'normally,' (or at least I don't think I do), so I was wondering if what I was doing was in any way unsafe, or if it was just unusual.

Here is what I do: I'm probably wearing PJs for all of this. Once I'm hard, I get my penis to be laying flat, pointing towards my stomach. Then, I place my right hand on top, palm-down, and move my hand back and forth, in circles, etc. I'm not really moving my hand, I'm just moving where I put pressure, if that makes sense. While I'm doing this my left hand is on top of my right hand, but is not putting on any pressure, it's just stabilizing my right.
