Hi!
Does anyone know why children/boys like fighting between each other as play so easily?
Currently I am housesitting and the neighbours have a big trampoline in their garden which is directly visible from the house I am in. The neighbours‘ boy and his friends play in it every day, currently 3 of them are in it and they’ve spent most of 30 mins hitting each other, pushing each other, kicking each other inside it. All of them have complained loudly about the pain and told each other off for being too rough, but they continue. They might pause for a moment and 2 mins later one will complain again.
When an adult is near usually they don’t play as roughly.
I don’t remember playing so rough so often as a child, but maybe someone has a good explanation?
Edit: I am guessing they are between 8-10 years old.
