How are some people able to get honey from bee hives while wearing a shirt and shorts?

I just saw a guy in a video where he's wearing a shirt and shorts near a bee hive. All he has is a torch with some smoke and waves it at the bee hive. Then, he cuts a big piece of honeycomb off the bee hive like it's easy and there's like 100 bees around him. Also, he just brushes bees off the honeycomb with his hand.
How does he do that? He has like 50 videos of him doing this too.
