I work at a company. I missed the one week internal bidding period. It became external meaning I’m not guaranteed, but I still applied. Then it went inactive. I was told they were too busy. Then I got a call from the manager asking to come for an interview.

Then I’ve been waiting and my other job manager got a call asking about me. Also a manager from a different posting talked to him seeing if he can decide so she can get next dibs on me, he said he’d let her know.

I texted him asking for an update and he said he’d make a decision by tomorrow.

But tonight I just saw the posting go live again.

My fear is that he has a friend and told them to apply tonight and then Cornell for an interview tomorrow and select them.

I don’t know why ten posting is live again maybe it’s to allow the process to happen?
