iām asking this bc iāve seen so many ppl who are hell bent on telling ppl w issues to ājust get therapy.ā maybe an unpopular opinion here but i feel like telling someone, especially someone u donāt really know, to just go to therapy for their issues is kinda dismissive bc one, therapy doesnāt work for everybody in the same way that going to the gym, meditating, doing yoga, also does not work for everyone and two, not everyone can afford therapy. yet it seems like ppl are looking at therapy as a one size fits all kinda thing, but surely thatās not the truth. yes, i am aware that therapy has helped lots of ppl, hell itās even saved lives but i think itās important to advise people that therapy is not the only way to heal. like i said, other things like yoga, journaling, venting to friends and family, going to the gym can be just as effective in my opinion. but then again im no expert so maybe my take means nothing. idk, feel free to come for me or enlighten me in the comments (:
