Why did it get warmer tonight?
Post Body

I was watching a thermometer and it went from 50F to 60F then back down to 50F within about an hour. I've never seen this before although I might have never payed attention to it.

I googled and couldn't find an answer really. It says it could be heat trapped by moisture in the air but it's dry. Also I'm not sure but I don't think it's the urban heat island affect, it's not an urban area. Plus it doesn't seem like the heat is trapped, maybe, but it got warmer.
