I sometimes think of a random scene that I would want to be depicted just cause it would look cool and I prefer to use AI for it. I am personally very bad at drawing and if I were to comission something from an actual artist I would feel bad asking for constant little changes all the time or just ask to "show me a couple more options" which AI can do easily and an unlimited number of times.
I understand and agree that it is horrible when companies lay off actual artists and then use AI images for comercial purposes and in that light I hate the AI generated images as well. And I also get the hate towards it when people try to pass of AI art as their own or trying to compare themselves to actual artists.
I don't want AI to replace so many creative and talented people but for me and i'm sure for many other people it's a really fun tool to play around with and get crrative with. What i don't understand is why i see people bash images everywhere they show up even though it's just a post like "hey look at this cool image i managed to generate".
