I'm having my wisdom tooth extracted and to be honest, I'm a little scared, they will most likely just use local anesthesia, but I don't know because it's going to be a doctor who's doing the operation, not a dentist. Can I go to the procedure that day and (naturally) sleep through it? Like, staying up all night an try to make my tiredness help me go through it? Is there some danger if I fall asleep during the operation? (My question might sound stupid but I can sleep through any situations if I'm tired enough, I don't have narcolepsy, but I already sleep through a lot of other procedures)
Or any tips to make the process more bearable are also welcome.
(Edit: I have to add, I'm not on the US, general anesthesia that puts you to sleep is not the norm here. I had people telling me that they did it and didn't felt anything, but I'm still just human and scared)
