Is having enough toys/belongings to pack up in half a day a good thing or pathetic?
Post Body

It feels good because I feel like I can breathe/donā€™t have baggage, but it also feels pathetic because I donā€™t have valuables (think of it like me having a rare collectible item worth $$$ that takes up space, is better than having having an empty room).

The most clutter I have is a 45 quart storage box full of water bottles and coffee stuff. I had like 30 bottles and sold maybe 10-15 but still have 15ish that no one seems to want. A few times I want to discard them to ā€œbreathe moreā€ but I tell myself to chill out because one day someone will inquire about one.

I have half a storage box of retro gaming consoles but again no one wants the ones left (Nintendo NES, Nintendo Wii)

And then I have half a storage box of retro gaming consoles I want to keep for nostalgia (SNES, games, TinyNes). Another thing I have that I value is 16 PSA 9 graded holographic pokemon cards for nostalgia. But I also bought a few extra that donā€™t seem to be selling. I stupidly paid $750 for a PSA 10 pokemon booster pack that isnā€™t selling (but that could be for nostalgia).

My goal is to just have 1-3 yeti bottles, 1-3 coffee gear.

The only thing that really holds my heart are the 16 pokemon cards, and a few retro console from my childhood that would all just fill half way in a storage box.

Iā€™ve begun to dread buying stuff like new shoes. I already have 10 pairs, 3 spaces mostly just collect dust.
