I made a decision to pay for all my girlfriend’s meals (90% at least because sometimes she insists).
I also wanted to do even more by paying for movies, amusement parks, driving all the time.
I already spent $300 on both of us for Disneyland tickets in the future.
But she wants to see a play that came out. There is a lottery where you can get tickets for $40 each but I have been trying every day and never win which makes me wonder if I will ever win tickets.
But regular price is easily $200 each or semi decent seats. She says it’s not worth it.
But I want her to be happy and excited and tempted to spend $300-400 for tickets to a play I don’t really care about so she could enjoy it and I enjoy the time with her.
As a reference I make $120k and pick up extra shifts here and there but at the same time I still feel tight on money and feel like I need to be wise with finances.
Should I buy tickets to the okay even if it’s pricey or resist the urge? Any other advice?
