I lack problem solving skills…Is this something I can truly learn, or is this my fixed reality?
Post Body

It would be great if someone who has a good amount of knowledge on neurology or psychology has an answer.

My problem solving skills are bad. Below average. But there are things that I want to learn and pursue. If I am being too ambitious or unrealistic though, I genuinely want to know, so to not waste my time. Think of…the disorganized, seemingly unintellectual stoner in high school going on to be an engineer or a scientist. Will passion truly be enough, or should he not waste his time?

I’m not looking for encouragement or optimism, I genuinely want to know.
