Just had a random brain fart and this is the result. Have any leaders ever become friends during a war they are fighting each other in? Or shorly after? Has there been any funny interactions between leaders of the opposing countries? Just wondering if any 2 people got past the differences etc..

I know its not dead on topic and probably a total myth but I heard that in WWII That british and german soldiers cease fired on Christmas day to play football then the next day they resumed killing each other..

And going further off topic... I heard football was invented in a war where a human head was kicked around.

If you get a chance perhaps correct me on those 2 🤣 And also let me know of any similar situations in our history.
