So, here’s the thing: I have this weird habit where I almost never watch the final episode of a show. It’s like, once I watch it, the story is done, you know? And I guess I kind of like pretending there’s still something left to look forward to.
I’ve done this with so many shows I loved. Breaking Bad? Never finished it. Friends? Stuck somewhere near the end. Even with shows I binge in, like, two days—I still can’t bring myself to press play on the final episode.
Sometimes I wonder if it’s because I don’t like endings. Maybe it’s too final? Or maybe I’m just bad at saying goodbye to characters that feel like friends.
Does anyone else do this? Or do I just have commitment issues… with TV?
