Does the human species thrive under a matriarchy or a patriarchy?
Post Body

It seems to me as though the human species would thrive under a matriarchy. The closest ancestors to homosapiens, the bonobos, have a matriarchy. Which hints to me that humans might perform better under a matriarchal government.

Another reason is because the only other species that go through menopause also operate under matriarchies. It was evolutionary more important for the female to stay alive and spread their knowledge rather than their “seed” in order for the species to survive, hence menopause.

Biology wise I’m pretty convinced that humans require a matriarchy however, there might be moments in history that I’m unaware of that show a patriarchal system is more beneficial to our species. What do you guys think?
