Why is it wrong to have low self esteem?

On my psychological report, it said something to the affect of "they appear to have a low self esteem and think they are weak"
And my first thought was, "Well, yeah. Of course I do. I believe I am weak, physically and mentally. That's just the truth."
What is actually wrong with that mindset? It just seems like accepting reality to me.
