Worry and tension used to take up so much of my day, and I’d constantly ruminate, unable to focus on anything. Whenever I tried to ignore the worry and force myself to work, I’d end up frustrated, angry, and even hurt myself. But recently, I’ve started focusing on finding practical solutions to the things that stress me out by sharing my worries and seeking advice on Reddit, and it’s made a huge difference. Surprisingly, this approach has been way more effective for me than self-help books or videos. I’m curious—does anyone know why this works? I’d really appreciate insights from anyone with a background in psychology or personal experience with something similar!
