I wake up at 6 am, shower get read and leave by 7:15 to arrive to work by 7:55. My job starts at 8:15 (I don;t risk leaving home after 7:15). My gym is 10 minutes away from home the opposite way.
I get done at 4:45. Get home by 5:45. If I stay over time, I get done at 7:15. arrive home by 8 pm.
If I go straight to the gym, the actual workout takes 30-45 minutes, and I probably won't arrive to my girlfriend until 9 pm. That feels late.
I can forego lifting weights, and just jog a 15 minute mile right before clocking in, then 2 mies on my lunch break. My workout would be a 3 mile walk/job and 500 caloric deficit. I've done this routine in the past and lost 30 lbs and reach a healthy bmi. I am back to 30 lbs overweight after a bulk gone south, and prefer the lean look I had before.
If I work weekends, I would be free by 4 pm. So I could see girlfriend then. If I just work until 7:15 and do cardio, I can still see my girlfriend by 8 pm every night which isn't too bad, but I wouldn't be lifting weights anymore.
I can also not do overtime but I won't be able to reach my goal of saving 100k.
