For the past few years, like once a month when I'm falling asleep I'll see a spider close to me and jump up scared. Sometimes it's so realistic I'd get up to kill it and realise halfway through it was a dream/hallucination. Other times it's the size of a phone sitting on the wall behind my bed.
And it's not always a spider, I've seen roaches and centipedes.
It's always on the wall or ceiling. What scares me is how normal and realistic it always is. But I blink and it's gone, just enough to make my adrenaline go up.
Why and how does it happen?
Is there some specific sub that can answer me better?
