Why do some religions get attacked for things others don’t?
Post Body

I’ve been wondering this for some time but am afraid I’ll be called islamaphobic or something. I’ve seen a lot of Muslims and stuff on TikTok and YouTube talking about how they do not support lgbtq people, and no one seems to care in the comments. But as soon as I see a video of a Christian or something saying the same thing people in the comments are rightfully jumping all over them and calling them out for their prejudice. Why is there such a double standard between the two? Another thing I’ve seen is people calling out other religions for being misogynistic when telling women to cover up but when Muslims do it everyone starts preaching about religious freedom and culture. Sorry if anything in this post seems ignorant i genuinely just want to know, I’m not religious at all so this is sort of alien to me 🥲
