Why do people buy Pokemon in stores?
Post Body

I only just got introduced to GO recently and have no idea about anything Pokemon. I've had experiences with my friends where we run around to different stores and try to find card packs. Many times the stock is sold out. Recently, I ran across a store employee stocking cards. I texted a friend, who is an avid collector, and he immediately dropped everything and went to the store. He said when he got there four people where already picking out card packs. The next day the display was empty. But why? Can't people just purchase a functionally infinite number of card packs online? If I wanted what is stoping me from placing an order of 10,000 boxes of Pokemon cards?
