This is not about my relationship
Pertaining to a long distance relationship (within the same state), is it normal for a man to go days without contacting, in some form, their girlfriend? What would you think of that? There are no significant extenuating circumstances that would explain his need to go so long without a call, text, email etc. Just regular work and regular day to day stuff.
I have always been under the assumption that people in a romantic relationship speak at least once every day, even if itโs a single text.
(My husband and I have celebrated 10 years together this year, and during our dating years before we lived together spoke every single day, regardless of busy schedules, even if it was a quick โhey how are you, miss you, etc.)
So how common is it to go nearly a week without talking? I would consider that abandonment of the relationship.
