Should I really try to spend time at Walmart/Target trying to pick up older women?

I am 42, so I am talking like 55-65 year olds. I have always liked older women. A lot of women that age don't really use dating apps, at least not in my city. I don't like bars, either.

I was doing some searching around on reddit and google and some people were saying they just walk around these stores just to pick up women and some women actually gave them their number. Also, when I asked for dating advice on a previous profile, some commenters suggested going to these stores to look for women.

I also see these youtube videos of guys actually doing this and wonders if it works or is it bullshit.
