Is it ok to say "to be in control of a house" meaning they can sell, rent it out etc?
Post Body

I'm writing a power of attorney for my sister in another country and want to follow that country's legal language. So the sentence goes as follows - I appoint this person to manage and be in control of the house ( including selling, exhanging and pawning ) ....

I initially put "be in charge of" but I think it has slightly different meaning as in being in charge of the occupants of the house
