Is it all a scam or are there real ones?
Post Body

As I've been getting back to reddit as a regular user for the past couple of days, and I wanted to ask about all of the posts on various subs where people are looking to meet up. For context, I live in Las Vegas and I am on a variety of the subs around the valley, and it just seems like whenever there is a post about meeting up, they usually tend to be bots, onlyfans account holders who just want money, or people who have user accounts on reddit that are only a few days old.

The question, much like the title of this post, is are all of these users just bots and scammers or are there some real ones? It appears that 99% are fake or just want money for nothing. Am I just late to the party of seeing all of this spam? And if they are real, why do they resist sending verification?

I'm not trying to troll or make this seem like I'm joking, I'm just genuinely curious, so I know to either keep my guard up or be up front about asking for verification photos when chatting with someone. Or to just stick with the trusted subs like r4r. Thanks in advance!
