In extreme sports where people often get injured or killed, world records only count if you survive. What if you set a world record in a "regular" sport and then immediately die?
Post Body

For example 100 meters world record. You set a new world record and then have a fatal stroke immediately after. Would the record count even if you didn't survive the attempt?
