Do you stay a non-resident citizen if you let your passport expire?
Post Body

I'm a dual citizen with the UK and live in Canada and have never lived in the UK. Passport says that I'm a British citizen. I'm not going to be able to renew my passport for the foreseeable future (maybe at all) - will I continue to be a citizen if I don't have a passport or do I need to keep certain documentation updated?
