If colour is human perception how would objects look like in objective reality?
Forgive the dumbness of the question(s)
I donât know if this question even makes sense as âwhat it would look likeâ in itself posits a viewpoint of an observer and without defining the observer it doesnât make sense.
Its so confusing and unclearâŚdoes that mean objects are in reality invisible?
Light shines on an object, it absorbs some wavelengths and reflects some. If the reflected wavelength that reaches our eyes falls in the visible spectrum, our brain âperceives it as a certain colorâ
So it means that color not an inherent quality of an object. But does that mean an object in reality is colorless? What does a colorless object look like? Would it all be pitch black? Isnt black a color? Or is it lack of color? If a certain object that reflects/emits light outside of our visible spectrum how would it look like?
Im so confused, cant define it properly too, so please help clarify! :)
