Is the pictures my mom took of me as a baby hers or mine ?

I’m trying to get some of my baby photos back from my mom . She’s claiming it’s hers because she took them of me. I can just make copies but really had me wondering … How could it be hers if it’s a picture of me ? Like if I could take photos of myself I would but I was a baby… But yeah technically they’re not my property and I didn’t personally take them . But it’s my face and it’s me . I also didn’t agree to taking them . How can someone just own my likeness because they took the picture ?

I love my mom but I never see her and just want my baby pictures
