Is it appropriate to get my boss/supervisor a holiday present?
Post Body

I started a new job in July. Pretty much my dream job. I absolutely love my coworkers, especially my boss and my supervisor. It's a small team, and honestly is more of a group of friends than strictly coworkers. It's a job with a huge learning curve, and I am still extremely green. My boss and supervisor are extremely supportive and helpful as I learn, and encourage a healthy work and life balance. Part of me wants to get them each a christmas gift, but I'm not sure if that's appropriate workplace etiquette. I've had some awful bosses before now, and having such a supportive work family has been an actual life changer for me. I just want to show appreciation in an appropriate way, but I'm not very good with social etiquett in general, especially workplace etiquett. Maybe just a heart-felt christmas card will be good?
