Can I skip the last two seasons of The Office and watch the finale?

I heard the seasons after Michael left are pretty bad, not unwatchable but way worse than previous seasons and while I'm trying to watch through it now I'm not really the biggest office super fan either and don't want to slog through the underbaked seasons really. However I heard the finale was really good so will there be some big glut of plot lines I miss out on that ruin the finale or is it worth watching?
