Is it dumb to be active on NSFW subreddits and regular subreddits?

Like for example, I’m a guy, and I want to be active in adult subreddits and post in them, maybe even some pictures (not of my face) but I also want to learn about personal finance and talk about Star Wars.
I know Reddit is for everything, but is it smart to do this? I don’t really feel like creating a throwaway or something
