Do Americans not use the phrase “can’t be arsed?” Do you not know what we’re talking about with the acronym cba?
Post Body
I am a Brit and recently stumbled across a tiktok of an American living in the uk sharing her favourite British phrases she hadn’t heard in the US, “Can’t be arsed” was on there and the comments were full of Americans agreeing with her and Brits being baffled by the fact that we use it so regularly online and no one’s ever asked us about it… I use cba on Reddit regularly, have I just been making no sense?
