How many turning points do you think the western world had experienced with technology?

I'd say there were three.

First being in 2008-2009 school year, after iphone coming out, in which people, including teens, started to become glued to phones (they partially resembled cellphones and smart phones).

Then around 2012, social media as we know today took off from then and people became addicted to it. Thats turning point number two for me.

Then in 2023, social media then became the complete norm, almost every activity is found online, socialisation became rarer and rarer. The actual alarming problem with social media started from then.

That's what I believed. But how many did you think there were?
