Is it wrong to not really like oversexual things?
Post Body

I'm not asexual but I guess I feel like I have some asexual tendencies. At least in a casual context, I don't really like sexual themes or comments. Maybe some would consider it prudish.

Just for instance, my family was watching this movie over thanksgiving where the characters go to this knockoff hooters. It was this whole joke about a guy ordering a latte. The setup for the joke was funny, but overall I did not care for it going in such a sexual direction. It felt tacky.

And overall I feel absolutely no desire to go to like a hooters or even a strip club, even though those types of places seem popular. It doesn't seem appealing at all.

In normal conversations, I would generally prefer sex not be talked about. Context matters ofc. But I really don't care for "locker room" type talk. I don't need to know who finds who attractive or what gets people off.
