I just saw a post saying a smoker inside is dangerous. Every winter my family uses a "fireplace" in essentially the same way... how dangerous is it?
Post Body

So in Eastern Europe there are these moveable fireplaces made from metal that are really famous, especially among the older people. As most people here live in apartment blocks, the fireplace comes with metal tubes. They connect the fireplace with a hole in the wall that connects to the building's "chimney".

Mostly wood and coal is used for the fire and the tubes are not seal proofed.

I've grown up with this as my grandma loves her kamina lol is it really dangerous and if yes, how bad is it?
