When in the 2020s was the turning point in which teens and young people no longer hang out anymore?
Post Body

Some say since the pandemic. But when I was in Year 9 (when we re opened after the first lockdown), as well as Year 10, so many teens and young people socialised in town when I commuted home from school. Even in school before we had the phone ban in Y11, students still hang out.

From my experience, it was around 2023 when teens and young people stopped hanging out and completely use social media. Yes, phone addictions became popular among us teens and young people since 2008/2009, with the moderate increase in 2012 and significant in 2020, but for me, it wasn't complete until 2023.

But what about you? When in the 2020s did teens and young people completely stopped hanging out and just use social media?
