I don’t know how to properly write my goals for next year. I’ve already done the reflecting on what I’ve accomplished this year and I have a page of things that I consider wins outside of the goals that I had for myself this year. I’m actually really good at it. However, over the next couple of weeks there’s going to be a lot of uncertainty and I’m not really sure how to approach it.
Prior to what happened on 5 November, my main goal was to be debt free - but now it looks like a better idea just to save my money. I make more money in interest on my savings, than I am charged on my loans. All of my stocks will be affected by the tariffs and at this point, I am probably going to pull anything that’s not considered retirement. I don’t have much out there anyway, but it’ll make more money in my savings account then it will end the stock market. Especially after the initial hit.
So I don’t know what to do anymore. My goals were always SMART. Like the design, the stupid one corporations make you do. They were reasonable and even had goals within them so that way I knew I was achieving something in the process.
Now I truly don’t know what to do anymore other than just stock up on certain things that I know will go up in price significantly .
