Why don't mobile operating systems ship with terminals or any kind of command line?
Post Body

A terminal of some sort is present on nearly every computer operating system I can think of. Windows has one and Macintosh has one. Every Linux distribution has one, and some distros are even fully command line (except for maybe some simple text-based interfaces in some programs). That reminds me of the DOS operating systems like MS-DOS, which are also fully command-line, save for the text-based interfaces of some programs.

But then I look at mobile operating systems like Android and iOS, and they don't ship with any kind of terminal. Of course, there are third party terminal apps on their app stores that you can install, but they don't ship with terminals pre-installed.
