How do I stop making everything deep?
Post Body

I think I turn almost every conversation I have with someone deep/complex. I know how to have small talk, but I don’t know how to keep it going for very long. A friend of mine recently told me that I might be bringing up heavy things too early on, and I assume this could be scaring people off. I tried not to make this issue deep either.. I thought, I’ll just be super casual and just talk about random, fun things! But I keep failing. This sounds like a dumb issue, but I’m worried I’m actually sabotaging relationships with people. I want to be a more “normal” conversationalist in this sense
