Why do trainers go above and beyond to point out your mistakes ?
Post Body

Ive been working at this company for about 1 year now and I obviously still make mistakes. She wasn't even my initial trainer (women mentioned in the title), she's just the general trainer who responds to peoples questions through a shared dropbox.

Her and her other friend who works the same position as me but has been doing this job for over 10 years, wouldaggrieve point out my mistakes. I'm not talking about pointing it out easily, I mean they expect a response to know why I made a mistake rather than stick to the solution and avoid it happening in the future.

Ive had back and forth with them a lot and they always CC my manager in on emails so he's witnessing it all but I respond professionally always. I'm now in training for another function and that trainer hasn't heard from me.

What I *find utterly intriguing is she reached out to the women training me and said "*I havent heard from such and such in a.long time, how's he doing with your training sessions?" said my trainer. A few hours later I get an email from that old trainer who use to point out my mistakes and she pulled some old case with a lengthy email talking about my mistake and how trainers are here to support me (she was getting off track with her comment).

I replied and said "thanks for the advice. Out of curiosity*, why were you assigned this case?* shouldn't I have received it as an error report since I processed it ?" and she replies without CC'ing my manager saying she doesn't know why maybe a glitch in the system or she might've worked on a similar case way back.

I CC'd my manager basically saying no worries I just wanted to understand the logic. I honestly think this lady was trying to go through my work to nit pick a mistake and use it to bring it up with my manager. I havent even met this women irl. Advice ?
